How do we treat rising damp?

Rising damp treatment requires repairing the existing damp proof course or installing a new one if the damage is severe. This is normally done by drilling holes in a band around the affected area, followed by injection of chemicals, osmotic solutions or a damp proof membrane into the wall. Finally, the damaged plasterwork is removed and properly replaced to prevent future damp occurrence.
